Research — Intellectual disability and social media use in an emergency

University of Melbourne PhD student Heidi Peart is seeking members of the intellectually disabled community to participate in her research which aims to find out how intellectually disabled people use social media in an emergency.

We are doing this research because we want to make sure people with intellectual disability can get the information they need in an emergency. We hope this can help them to make decisions for themselves and stay safe.
