DJA Call To Action — Consultation on draft lists of NDIS supports

Disability Justice Australia National Logo

On Sunday 4th August, the Australian Government published a draft list aimed to define of what constitutes NDIS support. This is important to all disabled people in Australia because when the new NDIS Bill becomes law, this list will decide what supports can be purchased with a NDIS plan.

The public consultation period on the draft list is very short and closes on Sunday 18th August. DJA encourages our friends and members to submit feedback on the draft list. To learn more and to submit your feedback click the button to visit the Consultation page on the Department of Social Services (DSS) website:

Despite being a very short consultation period, the DSS Consultation page contains many useful resources providing access to users with a wide range access requirements. In addition, you may find the detailed analysis of Team DSC to be useful. The Team DSC article is available here.

Disability Justice Australia Inc (DJA) hopes our members and site visitors find this information useful. If you are not already a member of DJA, please consider joining — membership is free. Click here for more details.
