Understanding the NDIS webinars are national information sessions that outline the roles, responsibilities, and core processes of the NDIS. These sessions support participants and communities to understand, access, and navigate the Scheme.
In addition to the webinars, the NDIS also publishes information on the “Understanding the NDIS” webpages that are easy to understand and include video resources.
Who should attend
These sessions are designed for NDIS participants, carers, families, and kin, as well as supportservices such as advocacy organisations, peer support networks, and carers’ groups. Mainstream services that support people with disability including health,education, housing, and community services are also encouraged to attend.
Please note: these sessions are not intended for providers.
Delivery
Sessions will be delivered via videoconference using Microsoft Teams. Registrations will close one (1) business day prior to each session. Login details (including the Microsoft Teams link) will be sent via email from events@ndis.gov.au to the address provided at registration. This email may be filtered to junk or spam folders.
